In his book, How to Keep Your Sanity in Dietary Confinement, author Alex Lind shares some of his insights and personal experiences relating to dieting and weight training.

Alex is a Jersey boy, born and raised in Lyndhurst, NJ. He continues to reside in Northern New Jersey with his wife Maura. Growing up, he always had a passion for fitness and cooking which only grew stronger as time went on. Combining these two loves has led him to find inventive ways to honor his strict diet regimen yet be creative within those confines.

The recipes in this book are unlike any you will find in most cook books and his insight into how to stay on the path to the body image you’re seeking will be very helpful to anyone struggling from dieting boredom.

In this, his debut book, Alex shares some personal experiences as they relate to dieting.

“No one likes the word diet.  It starts with the word die. But in the scheme of things, if you want to change your body, how you look, how you feel, what you eat is a big part of the equation.”

Alex is a certified personal trainer and trains as a competitive athlete. Naturally, his diet incorporates some very strict eating habits which can often become so monotonous and boring that it can lead to cheating or quitting on a diet altogether.

“The question you have to ask yourself is, how serious are you about becoming in peak physical shape? Are you in training for competitions? Do you have health issues that need to be addressed so you can live a better, longer life, or do you just want to have as little body fat as possible because it makes you feel good to look good and be in really great shape.”

He also enjoys bringing his training and dieting programs to corporations seeking to offer his assistance to their workforce. A healthy employee is a happier and more productive one. Alex is also available to speak and do cooking demos and for private training.

With his new book, Alex hopes to help as many people as possible live happier and healthier lives.
