Famous Fitness Model and Nutritionist Rachel Scheer is Helping Thousands of Women Make Positive Lifelong Changes

Life can bring us many tough phases, and when every next step seems like things are only getting worse – it can make or break a person. But Rachel Scheer maintained her courage while dealing with many extreme challenges throughout her life. She grew up in a dysfunctional home with her father who was mentally ill. Eventually, with her hard work and dedication, she achieved her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Rachel quickly became a well-known successful fitness model and bikini competitor who has gained a worldwide reputation. She gained millions of eyes through social media and her career path seemed unobstructed. However, the tragedies of life continued to hinder her and suddenly she began to suffer from debilitating gut issues. After many false diagnoses and one doctor even suggesting the removal of her entire large intestine, Rachel decided to take her health into her own hands.

Using her knowledge in nutrition and dietetics Rachel decided to become an expert on gut health and became certified in functional medicine through the Kalish Institute. Rachel says “using a functional approach and focusing on the health of the gut microbiome saved [her] life. All disease begins and ends in the gut, so rather than putting a ‘band-aid’ over an issue I.e. medications/drugs/surgery, we need to get to the root cause and that’s what functional medicine comes in. My gut issues came from a bacteria imbalance or gut dysbiosis, and once I was able to address that through diet, stress, supplements, and lifestyle changes I was able to heal my body and avoid surgery.”

This life-altering experience motivated Rachel to start her own functional medicine nutrition practice in Dallas, TX so that she could help others get to the root cause of their health issues.

Her story of struggle inspired her to create something truly special for women and recently she has decided to announce her new legging line. With a new clothing business, Rachel Scheer has decided to give all women an opportunity to recreate themselves.

Rachel has shared her “mantra” for women that is gaining popularity – “Still I Rise”. It is an inspiring step for women that have gone through huge hardship and trauma in their lives. Rachel’s goal is to empower women to take control of their health and empower them to reach their greatest potential. Rachel states, “it is not your situation or your circumstances that define you, but your choices and your habits that make you who are. We all have the power within us to achieve greatness, but we have to be willing to fight for the life you want.”

Meanwhile, Rachel has also launched her own podcast named “Scheer Madness”. It is an extension of her existing brand Rachel Scheer Nutrition LLC and it will have two styles of episodes. The first one will include interviews with famous entrepreneurs, coaches, and athletes; whereas, the second one will be about the journey, motivation, and struggles in life she and other women have endured. Rachel says, “the purpose of her podcast is to give listeners insight into how successful people overcome the struggle.” Scheer Madness is currently available on iTunes, Spotify, and Youtube.

In order to get to know Rachel Scheer, we asked we asked her a few questions:

Q. What inspired you to announce a legging line for women?

A. I have wanted to come out with my own fitness clothing line for a very long time. I took all my favorite concepts from leggings I personally love: high waisted, “scrunch butt,” and high-quality fabric. I am a big fan of the “scrunch butt leggings” leggings, which essentially aid in lifting and contouring the booty. The fabric/quality of the leggings were based on lululemon’s “Align” pant, which makes you literally feel almost naked it is so light and soft, but also way overpriced. My leggings will be half the price of lululemon, but with the same quality and more emphasis on the booty, making women feel confident and sexy. I also have the quote, “Still I Rise™,” on the right calf on the pant.

Q. What should people expect from your upcoming podcasts?

A. Scheer Madness is not your average podcast. This podcast is for the hungry: those who are ready to level up their life and get results that truly matter in their health, business, mindset, and relationships. My goal is to offer my listeners with the motivation and tools they need to achieve their version of success. With my expertise and credentials in the field of nutrition and dietetics and functional medicine, I offer my knowledge on all thing’s health, wellness, and nutrition. While inviting expert’s in their fields to share their insight, stories, and real-world advice and tips for success.

Q. What motivates you to stay determined and achieve your life goals?

A. I believe I have a purpose that is beyond just myself. I know what it is like to feel lost and broken, to question myself, to lose my health and be scared I will never get it back. And it is because of what I have walked through that I know that you can take your pain and turn it into purpose. My mission is to use my own experience and knowledge to help others become the greatest versions of themselves.
