Entrepreneur Jason Harriman Launches Apparel Company That Plans To Do Good during Tough Times

Online apparel store launches a wide variety of clothing for men, women, and kids, with positive messages that lift people’s spirit and inspire them while doing good for their community.

With the impact of the global pandemic, Jason Harriman and his wife, Pia, felt a need to provide positivity in their community.  What it turned into was much bigger than they anticipated.

It resulted in the creation of High Kind Company, an apparel outfit that was initially launched as a way to spread what they were feeling – “let’s come together and remember we are stronger than what is happening.”

The fun, creative, and inspiring messages on the clothing turned into a mission to do good.  As they continued to create new slogans and fashionable trends, they sought out organizations to work with and committed at least 25% of all profits to groups that directly impacted their community.

Every product created by High Kind Company features positive, loving messages in a stylish fashion. “We need to make sure people want to wear it,” says Pia, who was the lead designer early on. So High Kind Company made sure to select the highest quality and soft material to ensure their customers would want to wear it and spread the message.

Shopping on the highkindcompany.com ecommerce store is a pleasure, as they offer a wide array of offerings that focus on personal experience.  They offer men’s and women’s shirts, tank tops, and sweatshirts in a variety of colors and styles.  They also offer home goods such as coffee mugs, bags, and more.

High Kind Company creates regular offerings and limited edition designs. One of these was their “Filipino X” series. When the country started to see crimes against the Asian community in early 2021, Pia and Jason began to design shirts that lent from Pia’s heritage and focused on spreading the message to stop Asian hate.  From this, they donated more than $5,000 to organizations raising awareness of the cause.

To date, High Kind Company has given more than 7,000 high-tech facial masks to hospitals and first responders and over $10,000 to causes to support military veterans, victims of human trafficking, and supporting Asian Americans that have suffered violent hate crimes.

Customers get 20% off their first purchase when they sign up. The site also sells gift cards from $20 to $100 to make shopping easy for customers, especially those who can’t pay with cash or credit card. Their customer care is available 24/7 to attend to any issues the client may have.
