Award-winning author and addiction counselor Claudette Betty’s top-rated book, “Healing from Personal Traumas: New Beginnings,” where she bravely shares her journey from a traumatized child to a transformed woman, is now available in leading digital stores.

While working as a registered nurse and addiction counselor in the field of drugs, alcohol, and psychiatry, Claudette said she discovered that her clients’ traumatic experiences were familiar to her.  

“I realized that I couldn’t be effective in healing others until I dealt with my traumatic experiences while living with an alcoholic father and five brothers who were bullies. I married a man whose abuse of alcohol caused me to experience mental and emotional trauma,” says Claudette. 

During her healing journey, Claudette became a Reiki Master, Holistic Nurse, and Shamanic Practitioner. She received intensive therapy for fifteen years, helping her to become a transformed woman. 

With the book now available in the global market, Claudette says her goal is to share her healing experiences to help others heal from their traumatic experiences.
