Age is but a number, and kidpreneurs Maya-Lynn and Jadyn Francis are proving that by making it big in their debut venture. The 11-year-old enterprising twins have successfully stepped into the business world with their retail company, Lynn and Jade, which offers an array of high-quality, innovative products specifically crafted to bring smiles to kids and spark their artistic spirit.

“Lynn and Jade was started by twins Maya-Lynn and Jadyn when Jadyn published her first children’s book at the age of nine. As a family, we want to continue to celebrate diversity and encourage self-love through the products that we create. Representation will always matter,” says Meteria Francis, an entrepreneur, course creator, and the mother of Maya and Jadyn.

The twins began their entrepreneurial journey in 2020 during the pandemic quarantine. Their first product was Jadyn’s book series, I Believed I Could, which comes in two versions – one for boys and one for girls. They are easy-to-read inspirational books that show young children they are capable of achieving great things.

Following this, Maya and Jadyn soon began to expand their product collection and released items with positive affirmations and vibrant designs. Under the guidance of their mother, the twins continued to bring their idea to life while spreading the message of confidence through their products. Maya and Jadyn want to empower kids like them to dream big and work to achieve their goals.

Maya, also known as twin A, works as the Executive Director of Lynn and Jade. She’s a math whiz and a budding musician who enjoys watching ESPN with her dad. Using her smarts, curiosity, and entrepreneurial skills, Maya helps lead the company into a limitless future.

Jadyn, on the other hand, is the brand’s Creative Director. She’s a high-spirited gal who enjoys singing and reading in her spare time. As a creative director, Jadyn utilizes her boundless creativity and fun-loving attitude to create functional and aesthetically-pleasing products that everyone in the family can enjoy.

Since the company’s establishment, Lynn and Jade has launched several product collections, including the iconic I Believe collection inspired by Jadyn’s book and the new Melani Magic and Marli Mermaid collections.

Some company bestsellers include beautifully illustrated coloring books, wall décor, kids’ apparel, and broadcloth throw pillows. The company has also released the Unicorn Bundle, containing unicorn wall art, a coloring book, and a bracelet/watch.
